Update with Drop-Off/Pick-Up Procedures for Carline I hope this message finds you well. I want to start by apologizing for the delays in pick-up times today. We understand the frustration this may have caused and appreciate your patience as we work to streamline the process. To address these issues and ensure a smoother experience moving forward, we are implementing a change to our carline drop-off and pick-up procedures, effective immediately. These updates are designed to improve traffic flow and, most importantly, ensure the safety of all students. Morning Drop-Off: Drop-off will occur from 7:20-7:55. Please ensure your child is dropped off during this window to avoid delays. All cars must enter the carline from the 1st entrance to the back of the school on Hammond Street following the cones through the parking lot. Students should exit vehicles on the passenger side only and be ready to exit when you reach the designated drop-off area behind the cafeteria and gym. You will exit the carline back on Hammond street. Afternoon Pick-Up: The pick-up procedure will start at 3:00. Please arrive within this time frame to avoid congestion. Each car should have received a numbered placard that must be displayed on your dashboard. This placard will match with your child’s name. Please remain in your vehicle at all times and follow the instructions of the staff members directing traffic. General Reminders: Walkers will continue to be picked up outside of the entrance on Edwards street at 3:00. Please wait by the flagpole for your student to be brought to you. EC students in Mrs. Torman’s and Ms. Sanderlin’s class will still drop-off and pick-up at the entrance on Edwards street. Do not park or leave your vehicle unattended in the carline. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by today’s delays. Please know that we are committed to making this process work more efficiently, and your cooperation with these new procedures will help us achieve that goal.
