Allen Wilson Headshot

Principal, Dr. Allen M. Wilson

My name is Dr. Allen Wilson and I truly consider it an honor to be given this opportunity to serve the Edwards Elementary School family and the surrounding community!

Prior to stepping into this new role, I was the principal of Bailey Elementary School for the past two years and have accumulated over 10 years in education. Before becoming a school administrator, I began my career in education as a science teacher at Southern Nash Middle School and coached boys’ golf at Southern Nash High School. I attended North Carolina Wesleyan University for my undergraduate degree in Biology and Gardner-Webb University for both my master’s degree in Executive Leadership and my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership.

I am truly looking forward to meeting each of you and working collaboratively to make Edwards Elementary School a place where every student can achieve their full potential. Please feel free to reach out to me at amwilson@ncpschools.net  if you have any questions or would like to share your thoughts and ideas.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. Together, we will create a fantastic learning experience that will set the foundation for a bright future.
