This is final week of the school year. We will be administering the End of Grade Math and Reading tests this week. All students should take their time and work hard to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Get a good night's sleep and come ready to work each day.
We will be hosting our Academic Awards Program on Tuesday night at 6pm in the gym. Students receiving an award have been notified.
Thank you for your patience and support this school year. It has presented many obstacles, but together, we have overcome and grown stronger. Let's finish this year on a high note and show everyone why we are the best middle school with the best students and teachers!

Tomorrow is our 8th Grade EOG. Only 8th grade students that have returned their form will be dismissed from the gym. Please come through the car line and turn into the staff lot between 1pm and 2pm. Pick up will be at area outside the gym door. We will call your students as you arrive.
All parents picking up students for the regular 3:30 dismissal, please do NOT enter the car line until after 2:30pm.

We want to make you aware that during dismissal this afternoon, a vehicle collision occurred on campus. The Nash County Sheriff’s Office and Highway Patrol responded promptly.
We are grateful for the quick response of emergency personnel and want to assure you that the safety of our students, staff and families remains our top priority.

This announcement is for our Academic Awards Night. This will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 6pm in the gym. This event will be invitation only. We are working to finalize our list for each grade level and the invitations will be going out very soon. Another message will go out with this information. Thank you and have an excellent week!

Good evening parents. All 8th grade students MUST complete the required plans in School Links in order to be promoted to High School. Please speak with your student to ensure they have all parts complete before June. They have known about this since September.

Parents we look forward to an excellent evening tonight. The PTO has worked hard to make this year's May Ball a success. Please make sure to be here for pick up promptly at 8pm. Thank you and pick up locations have been sent in a separate message.

Tonight:
6th graders will be picked up though the bus lot. Parents should not come through the regular Car line.
7th and 8th graders will be picked up in front through the normal car line.
For families with students in multiple grades, students should be picked up in the front line.

Our athletic banquet will be Tuesday evening.
Wednesday is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 1:30.
Our Spring Band concert will be Thursday evening.
The May Ball will be Friday evening.
A reminder for our parents, please follow our simple car line process and do not cut the line. I would ask that those already in the line do not let parents in that come in the main entrance to cut. Also, please make sure your child has a ride home each day and that pick ups are at school by 4:30. Thank you
